Can Foreigners Invest in the PSE?





The answer is Yes. Foreigners, both Resident Foreign Citizens and Non-Resident Foreign Citizens can invest in the Philippine Stock Exchange or PSE.

In our Guide on How to Invest in the Philippine Stock Market, in Step 2, in order for foreigners to open their COL Financial account, they just need to submit the following:

For Resident Foreign Citizens
-Photocopy of one (1) valid government issued ID (Photo and signature must be clear)
-Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Work Permit from DOLE
-Billing Statement – Recent, no later than 3 months past

For Non-Resident Foreign Citizens
-Photocopy of one (1) valid government issued ID (Photo and signature must be clear)
-Proof of Income
-Billing Statement – Recent, no later than 3 months past
